It works. A real time-saver.
I used it to apply primer to weathered, rough/grooved deck balusters. I was skeptical, but it worked pretty well in a very tough application. I expect it would work VERY well for stain. It saved me a ton of time. I wish I had discovered this nifty tool years ago.

Tiny tube!
I've used this stuff to repair breathable waders for years. It's great. Beware of the package size here. It's 0.25oz. When I opened the package I thought the tube must have been hit by a miniaturization ray gun. My bad for not checking before ordering. It is a tiny amount.
