Back To Basics
This is the exact model radio that originally came in the vehicle and operates the trunk mounted CD changer. The radio works perfectly as expected. I just purchased the vehicle and wondered how the CD changer in the trunk operated. After doing some research I removed the aftermarket radio and found the CD changer connection plug behind it. This connection plug was intended to plug into one of the original model radios 3 ports. Once I received this radio and made the connections, the CD changer came to life and works as intended. Although the aftermarket radio was also a CD player and had all the bells and whistles, bluetooth, USB etc., I elected to go back to basics.

Go With What You Know
1 of 1 found this helpful When it comes to a job that has to last, I like to go with a genuine Toyota part. The aftermarket can save you some money, but do you really know what you are getting. With a genuine Toyota part I know I am getting a quality replacement part every time. I like to do a repair once.
