defective, cheap quality
Purchased to replace a cracked screen that wouldn't react to my finger on the bottom part. Took the utmost care in the disassembly. When it was put back together, with the same care, the screen display was normal, but it didn't react to my finger anywhere. I disconnected the digitizer & gently wiped the connections with windex, as recommended by troubleshooting sites. When reconnected, the display was black. The back light comes on, but that's it. Tried resetting, plugged it in, nothing. With everything assembled, I disconnected the new digitizer & connected the old, cracked, original one & it worked just like before (display- ok, reaction- top half ok, bottom not). Logically, I think the connector wires have failed. Very disappointed that I have to purchase another & disassemble the entire phone again.
