Better than the x570?
1 of 3 found this helpful In most cases YES. Its better than the x570. The MSI B550 A-Pro was simple to install and a stable chipset. Already compliant with amd Ryzen 5 series out of the box. (Ryzen 5 3600) No need to update the bios/UEFI. The bios version was dated just a few months ago in 2021.
The transaction & shipping were uneventful & thats as good as it gets.

AMD Ryzen 5 3600 better than Ryzen 7 2700?
1 of 1 found this helpful In a word, YES. My pc was built for gaming but I also use it for content creation for our two youtube gaming channels. I was worried about going to a cpu with two less cores. I was fairly sure gaming would remain the same but editing would slow down. Turns out that the R5 3600 feels faster in every aspect. I didn't do any benchmarks other than fps while gaming and that had a significant increase over the R7 2700. Im also running windows 11 insider preview build 22000.282 that includes a patch for amd ryzen processors. I've had zero negative performance issues on this windows 11 build. it seems they fixed it. All in all its been an awesome experience.
