Annie Oakley DVD

I saw this on PBS a couple of years ago but didn't have the funds to cover their funding drive offer of the DVD (plus a book) so I was glad to find it on eBay. The wait was worth it. This compelling biographic is a welcome addition to my collection. Annie Oakley rocked the world at her time and this well-researched and professionally produced account covers all the bases. Outstanding. A WORD OF CAUTION... after watching this DVD there's a good chance you'll fall in love with Annie Oakley and start collecting associated memorabilia....like I'm doing. ENJOY.

Red X Cover

Getting this "Hitler-Red-X" Time magazine issue completed my set of "Red-X" covers the others being: Hussein 4-21-03, al-Zarqawi 6-16-06, and Bin Laden 5-20-11. I also have the 11-9-15 issue which features a pair of crossed bacon strips on the cover. I figured "what the heck". The only "X" cover I'm missing now is the "Black-X" Japanese issue but I have ALL the "Red-X" issues. If you're trying to assemble a set, I would suggest NOW would be the time as "The Hitler Cover" supply seems to be thinning out quickly. I was putting it off for quite some time but now I'm glad I bought it when I did.

Actually has a mirror finish if you do it right. One thing I've learned, sometimes a white background works better than the recommended black primer. Also, try to get both the paint and the item to be sprayed at around 75 degrees (F). Leaving them both in the sun for a couple of hours does the trick. If you're looking for "chrome finish" from ANY other manufacturer you'll most likely end up getting a metallic gray at best. I've been searching for a finish like this for years. This stuff actually reflects like a mirror. FINALLY!!! Awesome stuff but be frugal or your new project will end up being pretty pricey.
