GREAT way to get ready for "Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS"!
0 of 1 found this helpful The new Super Smash Bros. games (3DS and Wii U) will be coming out this year (2014), but if you're just itching for some Smash now, this will definitely hold you over until then!
This is the third entry in the Super Smash Bros. series, and many hail it as the greatest thus far. It marks the first time in which Super Smash Bros. caters to the "non expert gamer", which it does in many ways-one being the simple controls using the WiiMote (D-Pad for directions and jump, 2 for standard attacks, 1 for special attacks, A to taunt, and B to shield).
What's awesome about this particular entry is that both Sonic and Snake are playable characters. While Sonic is already confirmed to return in the fourth entry "Super Smash Bros for Wii U/3DS", Snake is supposedly NOT returning. SO if you want to pin Solid Snake against Mario, this is likely the only game you will be able to do it!
This game works on both Wii and Wii U, but if you want to use a gamecube controller on the Wii U (since the Wii U does not have gamecube controller ports) you must buy a "Gamecube to WiiMote Adapter" in which the controller functions as a Wii Classic Controller.
Overall, Super Smash Bros. is my favorite Nintendo game, and Brawl is my favorite Smash game! This is definitely a must have for any Wii or Wii U owner!
