machining lines left on the blade
1 of 9 found this helpful Purchased this knife and wanted to strip the black coating and polish the blade to resist rusting, this particular knife after stripping had very deep machine marks left on the blade, despite multiple hours of sanding the lines remain, it's like they didnt care to finish the blade because they knew the black coating would cover the deep machine marks, I hate coated knives it causes friction and impedes chopping ability, the older knives were not like this in the videos I watched online, I was planning on getting a bk9 also and strip it too but not now, very disappointed.
