Great for hand planes, too
I use these to protect iron and steel woodworking tools — this 38cm size is great for medium sized rabbet planes and jack planes (up to a No.5).

Useful as far as it goes, which isn't far.
Very basic stuff, useful as far as it goes, but strewn with typos. I mean, really, you can't proofread the subtitle on the cover? "Everythings you need to know". His later book is better. His TV show is fun. But this is early and incomplete,

Plain, simple, workable.
1 of 1 found this helpful Iron-on patches. Five-star iron-on patches?? Well, yes, because they work. They’re a generous size, they stick (with heat) properly, the stickum doesn’t gum up the iron, the stickum doesn’t impede a needle to stitch down the edges and .. umm .. what else can I say? Good colors—dark to faded. Oh yeah .. they’re inexpensive.
Five stars, yes indeed.
