Best capo around
I’ve used a few different capos for flamenco guitar ; Schub, Jim Dunlop , G7 th. This D’Addario capo is by far the best.: the pressure is applied and the capo held in place from the centre point behind the neck which is important in achieving even pressure from the bass strings to the treble strings and twisting such as happens with the Dunlop is avoided. Secondly you can apply just the right ammount of pressure or equivalent pressure to holding down a barre chord which assists in maintaining pitch better than any other capos I’ve used. Thirdly frs lightweight ( this one is the aircraft grade aluminium version) . Four : it’s the most unobtrusive capo I’ve used ; when the hand is working near the capo, it doesn’t get in the way. I don’t think there is a better classical capo out there. I have been using the same capo in the mandolin version for over a year now and would recommend it for the same reasons. I would imagine a radius steel string version would be similarly good. Only thing I would like to see insofar as improvement goes would be if D’Addario made it in a couple I’d easy find colours . This is a Ford model T . You can get it in any colour so long as it’s black which can be hard to find when you put it down but really this is a 5 star piece of kit

These are great capos : I have several for different instruments ; Mandolin ; flamenco guitar + electric/ steel string. YOu can get just the lightweight.
