Saints and Soldiers Review
1 of 1 found this helpful While this movie is not on par with the likes of "Band of Brothers" or "Saving Private Ryan", this movie is well worth the watch, especially if your into war movies at all. "Saints and Soldiers" is a lower budget independent film as evidenced by the somewhat cheesy lines here and there as well as a bit of overacting at times. On the other hand, the plot is engaging and unlike some other war movies, "Saints and Soldiers" get's your noodle working on some ethical issues of war. Overall, it's a good view with a decent plot and typical war movie themes of self sacrifice, courage, and bravery.

A must have for any WWII enthusiast
1 of 1 found this helpful I met Spencer Wurst (the author) a couple days ago. What an amazing man. His story of traning then dropping into Normanday as part of the 82nd Airborne is pretty amazing. Angels must have watched closely after him as he evades death time and time again. Its a great read.
