Best value, Easy to use
This meat thermometer is easy to read and use. It appears to be sold with several different brand names and model designations by various vendors. Some come with two probes (one as a spare) and some have a strong warranty. This one I bought had neither of those but the price was very good. So far, I've only used my unit once. It seemed like the temperature reported was low but I still found it very useful. I plan to test the sensor in freezing and boiling water to help determine its accuracy.
Based on reviews of this design of meat thermometer, it looks like someday (hopefully years from now) I may need to buy a replacement meat probe sensor which is currently available (somewhat generically) at a reasonable price on eBay.

Sturdy
This is sturdy and fits our Rubbermaid wire style dishrack well. Hopefully the white coating lasts a long time.

High Quality, UL Recognzied Batteries
These are high quality batteries and they are UL Recognized Components. Mine arrived with 12.95V open circuit voltage and appear to have the same solid construction I have consistently seen with Power Sonic Batteries.
