Exceptional Performance - High Cost Maintenance
3 of 3 found this helpful Owning a used BMW requires regular maintenance that is very expensive. Owning a used BMW without a warranty is not for the faint of heart. It needs to be maintained on a regular basis. Items that seem to need to be replaced early in their life are but not limited to: The radiator, window regulators, seat belt retractors, CV Joints, etc. Items that should not wear out as quickly as they do. German cars are a pleasure to drive with performance that is exceptional, however you do have to put money back into them.
The engines and transmissions will run for a longtime if maintained.
Be cautious when investing in a used BMW.
