I'm glad I spent the money

With the large, beautiful screen, it's almost as good as a tablet for watching videos, and the onscreen keyboard is much easier to type on than most smartphones. One downside: the wraparound screen is easy to touch accidentally. Even with the large screen, it's comfortable to hold. The battery lasts all day, with plenty to spare after a full-length movie. A screen protector hurts touch sensitivity, but with a folio case I don't need one.

High mag too small

The large magnifier felt more like 1.2c than 1.8x. The high-magnification area was only about the size of a quarter, only felt like 3 or 4x, and most annoyingly wasn't in focus at the same distance as the lower magnification. Also, the LEDs weren't bright enough to make much difference in legibility. On the plus side, it did seem sturdy. Overall, quite disappointed.
