Motorola Droid Mini
0 of 1 found this helpful I love the way the device operates. However, there are way too many "apps" that run in the background that shortens the battery life drastically. The Android operating system DOES NOT make any attempt to help users get rid of these draining factors in order to prolong the life of the battery. This being a rather small device, it does not have much of a battery to start with. A person would think that Google would want their customers to have a device with a more dependable battery. Lets say for instance, a customer is too far away from a source for re-charging their device, then the battery is discharged long before the party has a chance to use it for any kind of emergency.. The only way around this situation is to turn the device off in order to save the battery. What good is a device that will not hold a charge or is turned off? It would be my estimation that Google would want their device left on for use. Great Device,,, inferior operation.
