Great book if you have a teacher!
Purchased due to recommendation by accomplished violinists, The Beginning states, "Technical instructions regarding the execution of technicalities of playing have been left quite intentionally to the teacher and his method." I have no teacher, and what I was looking for isn't in this book. I have read through the first few pages twice and flipped through the book, and, based on my education and work experience, I expect as I gain the technical skills working the violin, the book will be quite handy. It is better written than several other book series for violin I have.
