Sound great, look great, tricky installation

The functionality of these pipes is perfect. They sound fantastic (like an old triumph) and they look great (I wish the mounting bar was black too but whatever).
The bad:
Mounting was more difficult than expected for a few reasons. 1) you have to measure, fit and drill the bolt holes for the mounting bar (not a big deal at all though). 2) the ID of the hot end of the tip and cool end of the manifold do NOT match. An insert is needed to fill this gap. I went to the local hardware store, bought a piece of pipe, and machined it down to the appropriate thickness (it would’ve been nice to have known this before buying). 3) you need to use a high temp resistant silicon adhesive when mating the tips, inserts and manifolds together to get an air tight seal (also, not a big deal but would’ve been nice to know prior to buying).
Overall great product though. I recommend watching some install videos of the Jardine Shorty tips for reference.
