Beautifully crafted and works better than the original

This is SO much better than the feeble plastic catch... It is not only functionally so much better, it looks spiffy too. Chalk and cheese. It is more expensive than the plastic versions you can pick up on ebay, but worth it.

quite nice

Well made with one minor quibble - the 15amp blade fuse is soldered in (somewhat poorly). I've loaded these with 12V in, 24V out and run the 24V at 4amps. Heatsinks get warm, but not hot. Nice modules. TL494 circuit, with current limiting. Seem to work well.

Work and are inexpensive..

These are Bluetooth Low Energy 4 based devices. They work, and seem completely similar to ones costing significantly more. My vehicle has an Android 2-DIN radio/gps thing in it, and the "app" you can download from the App Store works on it. So it all works just fine. They have so-far survived significant rain and other potentially destructive things. The only fault I can pick is the app itself. The BLE data that the sensors broadcast is documented and rather than use the clunky app that is designed to look cute on a mobile phone, I just wrote my own for the in-vehicle Android box.
