Fuel Tank Cap-Non-locking MOTORCRAFT FC-1058-Did the trick!
1 of 1 found this helpful I have a 2007 Ford Freestyle Limited that the original gas cap broke on & my husband found a random cap that fit, but then I noticed my check engine light came on. I was like, "Crap! What now?" I Googled stuff & anyways, read that if the wrong cap is on, it could possibly cause the check engine light to come on. So, I bought the above cap, & after replacing the random cap & driving the vehicle a couple of times, viola! My check engine light finally went off after showing for 2 months! Happy camper, here!
