Work perfectly on my XJ8
2004 xj8. Easy to change. Jack side of car up, put on jack stands. Take care to know which side. Found out later that drivers side is passenger side in usa. Use special tool with slot in it.

Short time use
I wear these while working in garage around the house so they receive rough treatment. The plating on the plug jacks usually wear out in a week or so, but by that time I have tugged on the wires numerous times causing one side to fail and switch them out. I buy the large quantity so I can use them and replace frequently.
