Great App for Remote Operation
I have two of these thermostats for a second home. The thermostat does not require a hub and can work directly with an app. Although the thermostat comes with a "setup wizard", you must go into "technician mode" to identify your system (heat pump, etc.). I found no videos online that mentioned this, so I had to call a technician friend to help. This, and higher than average price of the thermostat is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Other than that, the thermostat is easy to use, and I like that it can circulate to control humidity as well as show local weather including radar. The app only shows outside temperature but is easy to adjust and see the history of when the unit has been running and for how long.
