Good stuff in its day
I purchased this as it was sooooo ancient I had forgoten most of it !! which made it worth watching; Surprising how much special effects have advanced since then.

Best suited to my purpose
Have a number of Makita tools running their battery system and have a clip similar to this on some BUT I have one driver in particular that I still run on their 1.5 Ah battery as it is small and light.
Not all clips will fit this shallow battery (too tall) but THIS ONE DOES.
PERFECT.

Ultra reliable, but beware the dreaded "tin worm"
I purchased this product despite knowing that the engine manufacturer no longer makes it, ( In fact the manufacturer no longer exists in this field) because I have previously owned the push along version. The NG460TR is self propelling; the item description is wrong.
My original Sovereign also powered by Tecumseh, has proven to be easy to start and ultra reliable, requiring minimal maint'; The only potential weakness in this mower does not lye in its engine at all but in its vulnerability to the dreaded "tin-worm"; The deck has a woefully inadequate paint film (standard throughout the lawn mower manufacturing industry it seems) as the only form of protection against the inevitable damp conditions the deck is subjected to in use. Fastidious cleaning and drying after every use is essential which is not too simple given the engine looses oil if positioned in any position other than upright, making getting at the machines underbelly an awkward and messy job, plus the oil needs to be replenished every time of course.
My original mower is still doing sterling service in the hands of a friend and I can see no reason to doubt the replacement will do just as well.
I believe this mower is available with other engines; I cannot vouch for these, but the Tecumseh engine, which was American I think, does a brilliant job in this mower
