Does not work with a new deck.
Unfortunately this does not work with a new deck. Chris was kind enough to give me a private video of how ot try and get it to work with a new deck to no avail. Most of the downloadable video that comes with the gimmick talks about how to TRY and get it to work with a new deck. So obviously I'm not the only one with issues. It works great with an old 'stickier' deck but the older edges of the deck will not match the new edges of the gimmick part of the deck. Someone he did not mention in the videos nor the private video he sent was that if you get an old deck with discolored edges like I did, you can use high gauge sandpaper and sand the darker edges to took close to new. Then the gimmick works ....but not if you use 52 cards. Even with a worn deck , no more than 48 or 49 cards MAX !
I use the trick but not in well lit rooms. Great idea for a trick but VERY poorly executed
