Playbar brings great sounds to TV and music library
5 of 5 found this helpful What an excellent product. I was convinced after a demo at a major retailer, and recommendation from a couple of work colleagues. Using the Playbar by itself, so without Sub. Does it need it? This unit goes plenty loud enough and deep enough without distorting so I would have to say not. Maybe I'll look at adding some Play speakers for surround at a later date but for now I'm thoroughly enjoying the noise this beauty is bringing to my movies and sports and listening to my NAS stored music collection. Even the wife is using it as the Android phone and iPad apps make it so easy to use and set up.
