Makes it look nearly new.

The original anodized aluminum on this used pistol was worn and chipped to the metal. I think that's why it was less expensive than others. Took 2 minutes to install. Looks great. Looks the same as the blued barrel. Makes the gun look nearly new. I'm sure it increased the value.

For a top charger, not a side charger.

Been trying to build a side charger upper. Normal plastic vise blocks will not fit. This vise block looks very good. Fits great on my other standard top charging uppers. Will not fit the side charger because there is no channel for a stick style charging handle. Good piece, big disappointment. I'm still going to end up buying a reaction rod.
