Zotac ZBOX MiniPC Model ID81 with No Hard Drive

Not the media PC you're looking for

Don't buy this as a media PC if you're expecting to get 1080p playback for movies or Youtube. This little system can barely handle 720p without frequent screen tearing. Even with my old gaming SSD (HyperX 3K) speeding things along, the low power CPU/GPU just can't handle HD video. The one I bought also refused to install Windows 8.1 due to some kind of hardware limitation. So I really doubt 10 would install either. Maybe others have pulled it off, I didn't. I ended up using 7. This mini PC would ideally serve as a low cost, space-saving browsing machine if you were on a budget. If you decide that this suits your purposes, a cheap used SATA SSD is absolutely recommended. But again, if you're looking for a dedicated and capable media box, this isn't the one.

Half dead LEDs within a year.

Bought mine January of 2019. Keeps the CPU cool enough (8350 stock, Arctic silver 5) at around 18C idle. Half the blue LEDs died earlier today 2/8/20 for no obvious reason. So yes it essentially does it's job but look elsewhere if your meme lighting is an important factor for you. Instead of the curved X pattern, I now have a funny blue S shape until I get around to replacing the fan with one that has working lights. These things are knockoff Hyper 212 EVOs. Maybe go with one of those instead and use your own 120mm fans if you like.

Not for sensitive noses

If you're used to decent incense like Wildberry, HEM or Satya, this isn't for you. Cheaper ingredients and dyes irritated my nose and made me feel like I had a minor sinus infection within an hour. I don't buy boutique brands like Fred Soll's, I'm strictly mid range quality, and this isn't even that. This is cheap stuff for cannabis users who need to hide a stink without spending much. All eight scents were super soapy and cloying as all get out. Stay away if that isn't what you're looking for.
