Awesome!
Price was decent and competitive. The knife is awesome! I have a Nakiri 7 a Chef's knife in the same series, but this little beast is like a razor. The steel is very solid and retains the edge. These are the most beautiful knives around, but also of highest quality. My only qualm is that the handle on this utility knife is a bit too small.

The visual imperfections ended up being on the inside bottom, where the coating seemed to have been applied unevenly. I washed it first, then gently boiled some water in it, and use a Dobi sponge and dishwashing liquid to gently wipe it off. I think it was just wax or something like it, but in the end the coating was even and fine. It is both a beautiful pot and works great. I have cooked in it twice, and loved it. I am not sure yet wthether it cooks more evenly than other enamel cast iron pots (like the several Le Creusets that I have), but I partly indulged for aesthetic reasons & also because the price was a deal. I have not been disappointed.
