Art of Mad Max: Fury Road by Abbie Bernstein (2015, Hardcover)

Just the book I was hoping for.

The best background history of the Mad Max movie series. I bought it mostly for the vehicle design, engineering and the associated artwork and photos. The concepts behind cars and trucks purpose built in a world where nothing is discarded because no manufacturing exists reveals the vision of the creators. I only wish there was one more book focused on the vehicles.

Kenny Burrell never did a bad recording. This also has a cover by Andy Warhol, a simple ink drawing, very elegant.
