Awsome Price - Awsome Camera - Awsome Pictures
1 of 1 found this helpful I am not a photographer, however, I wanted a DSLR that would have all of the basic features and allow me to upgrade cameras in the future without having to purchase all kinds of new lenses. Since I have had the camera and been messing around with it, I have found that the batteries seem to last forever and the camera is extremely easy to use. I have also learned that this camera is a good entry level DSLR, which is good because after I learn more about photography, I can upgrade. Overall, easy to use; works greats; and when I completely do not know what I am doing, I switch over to Auto and let it do its thing. How simple is that.
Pros: Easy to use, easy to set, easy to adjust, easy to find lenses and filters for.
Cons: I have not learned enough about photography to write this portion yet, but for the money - I can live with whatever cons I do eventually find -- if any.
Other thoughts: I used an SLR in high school, this camera is like a feather compared with that. I am getting the dual battery pack base for it just so I can add a little weight to it. Would have been nice if it came with the remote, but now after seeing that there are different ones, I guess it makes sense. Overall, I like this one much better than the Cannon EOS, donnno why but seems to feel better.

Glock Lock block
Its aftermarket and it fits and works - installed, tested, and now proven - that's a lot to ask for these days.
