The Beach Boys--Greatest Hits (Rmst)
THE original surfer dudes and all their fantastic hit songs. You'll love it if you are from that generation, and if you're not you'll still enjoy listening to some really cool music.

Fighter: The Story of the Battle of Britain
I had recently read two books about the Battle of Britain and both referred to this book. As I usually do, I checked to see if perchance it was listed on eBay. It was.
After having read it I now understand why this book is considered the primary source/reference for other authors writing about this pivotal battle of what was then rapidly becoming World War II. Mr. Deighton presents a balanced view of both the Fighter Command of the RAF and its counterpart Jadgwaffe of the German Luftwaffe. The book also delves deeply into the leadership aspects of both opposing forces. Of interest to some readers will be the fact that Fighter Command's Air Marshall Sir Hugh Dowding and 11 Group's Air Commodore Keith Park were both "fired" from their respective command positions soon after the battle had been won. Why? Read the book to find out.
The Luftwaffe's Reichsmarshall Hermann Goring was not without fault either. Besides being the ultimate egotist and boaster whose untimely and unwitting remarks put the proverbial "egg all over his face" he was the victim of devastatingly faulty intelligence that caused him to make far too many terminally bad decisions.
The book is easily read and I found it very absorbing. Anyone who is interested in aerial fighter combat will certainly enjoy this book.
