Great product, totally surpasses my expectations
I'm pretty particular about radio equipment and sound, having messed around in detail with both for decades. I had low to moderate expectations for this radio, mainly wanting it as something simple and sturdy for the workshop. Ability to pull in weak stations (challenging in my rural mountainous area) totally exceeds anything that I dared expect- rivalling my prior benchmark GE Superradio III. Sound quality won't be mistaken for high-end HiFi (you can't overrule physics) but for a single driver in small housing, is way better than I expected, and excellent for a compact simple portable radio. I'm going to be toting this thing around for more places and purposes than I expected.

Fascinating lens
Bought this lens to try on a Pentax Q miniature mirrorless digital camera, using a C-mount to P.Q. adapter. The lens is the equivalent of a 15.4mm (35mm equivalent) which would normally be extreme fisheye effect, but this lens renders images with lines and proportions undistorted and high resolution. The image doesn't quite fill the small outermost corners of the frame, but everything that appears is sharp. I look forward to being able to take some unique photos with this lens.

Great quality, good value
Buying a non-brand import for something like this always seems like at least a bit of a gamble. I'm glad that I took this gamble- the quality of the materials and workmanship has no shortcomings of any kind. I think I did better on quality to cost ratio than I would have with well known welding brands or high profile discounters
