Good build quality but loose connection

Item is good build quality but did not work in my Honda Civic. I had to keep it pressed by hand for the connection to work.. as soon as I leave my hand, it disconnects the charge. It may be the Honda model but the spring loaded charger tube coming out of this unit may be a tad shorter - which is causing the contact issues.
