Grumman Sterling Award Pin
This pin is a Grumman Sterling Award. I won't give the history, but you got one when you submitted an improvement idea and it was implemented. My guess is that there are thousands of these awarded by Grumman Aircraft over its 90 year history - which continues with Northrop-Grumman today. My guess is that you could not have a similar pin made today for the price of the silver it contains. It sure looks great on the pocket of my Levis Denim jacket, and is a tip of the hat to the many folks I worked with at Grumman - for whom quality was in the engineering & craftsmanship that went into the product!

Great Original B&S Replacement Part
