Very poor keyboard!!!!!! Worst I've ever used!
1 of 3 found this helpful It is a nice size laptop for all practical purposes but the biggest con is the keyboard. It is probably the worst keyboard I've ever used ... and at 62 years old I have used plenty. The keys themselves are fine but it's difficult to know how much pleasure to apply to actually activate the key(s).
I type approximately 65 words per minute on my logitech keyboard in contrast to about 25 words per minute on your self attaching keyboard. Sure it could just be me ... however, it is my pc/laptop and it makes typing a chore when it should be a pleasure. Even as I type this I'm having to backspace every other word to get keys to type the letters I'm depressing.
This is unacceptable... however I made the ill advised purchase so now I must deal with it .... My only hope is this post helps others to make a better educated choice than I did. Having never had a bad keyboard this is not a problem I expected. This is a sorry and useless aspect of this laptop.
As for other issues I wish I had purchased a laptop with an Ethernet input ... I have to eat this one because I did not view a multitude of reviews before making this purchase ... so shame on me. But this is something I seriously wish was available . However, this is my mistake.
For the most part this is a very capable pc ... the keyboard is the weakest link and it's a very poor link.
Enough said!
