Primo Shoulder Bag
1 of 1 found this helpful I believe if not for Indiana Jones, the cult of the "man-bag" would never have taken off. They are practical to the max. This one has 2 dividers inside, giving you 3 separate compartments, and a snap-closure pocket on the outside front for all the little things. Put things where your want them and then you can find everything you need by feel. Generous-adjustable-length shoulder strap. Heavy cotton canvas construction. Not too big and not too small; it has plenty of room. You could easily fit the Shankara Stones in this bag.

Jeff Lynne Remains A Master And A Musical Genius
After being resigned to never hearing anything new from Jeff (seems like every year there were reports of a new album), I was pleasantly surprised (2 years after the fact) to learn of this album.
As per Wikipedia, "In 2008, The Washington Times named Lynne the fourth greatest record producer in music history." I think he should be #1.
From The Move to ELO to the Traveling Wiburys to his solo work, Jeff remains a musical genius. Loved every song on this collection. My only complaint is that clocking in at 27 minutes (and that's with the supposed "bonus track" "Beyond The Sea") I was left wanting more.
It may be a "covers" album, but it's all pure Jeff Lynne. Any fan of his work will not be disappointed.

"Idea" by Bee Gees; Classic mid-60's Pop.
I know there's lots of hype around 2017 being the 50th Anniversary of Sgt. Peppers. Well, next year (1968) will be the 50th Anniversary of "Idea". It's every bit as good and as important a piece of music for its time. I read somewhere where in the mid-60's the Bee Gees were described as "2-year old Beatles", but that doesn't matter when you listen to and get lost in this album. The Brothers Gibb were at the top of their game. Every song on the lp is a gem; no throw-aways here, just like on Sgt. Peppers. I challenge anyone to not put the tunes "Kitty Can" and "Indian Gin and Whiskey Dry" on repeat mode and endlessly listen to them. And yes, there are some subtle and so not-so subtle differences in the mono vs stereo versions. One of the mono ones is better. I'll let you decide. And disc 2 contains unreleased bits and alt versions. If you love and cherish mid-60's pop music, and you've not experienced this album, you'll fall in love with it.
