Great show! Love to watch it. Always catches you by surprise.

I bought this for my dad for Father's Day. I love the show as much as he does. If you enjoy mystery, this is a perfect show for you. It is from the 50's so some things can be "cheesy", but overall this is a great show. It set the standard for later murder mystery shows.

Disappointed with message and movie overall

I was very disappointed with this movie. I purchased it because I was told that it was a very good and moving story. I did not enjoy it as much as I expected. The movie captures the emotional turmoil that a family goes through with cancer very well. But the end leaves you very depressed and with no hope. The mom in the movie (Cameron Diaz) is constantly angry at her younger daughter (Abigail Breslin), and she is extremely selfish (to the point of causing much physical and emotional pain for her younger daughter). A way of summarizing it would be to say that the mom is torturing one daughter with the hopes of prolonging the pain of the other. The biggest thing that I was disappointed with was that the mom never apoligizes for how she treats her younger daughter. Overall, I did not like this movie and I would not recommend it to any of my friends.
