Random remote pick up

I installed this socket in accordance with the instructions. It worked very well,with the remote switching the socket on and off correctly. Unfortunately the socket would then activate by itself - presumably picking up a signal from somewhere else. I would go out with the socket off, and when I returned home, the socket would be on. I tried using the different settings/buttons on the remote, but this had no effect and the socket would still turn itself on/off randomly. In the end I abandoned the socket and put it in a drawer.

Excellent product

This is the third support that I have bought from the same supplier. They are excellent value, good quality and easy to use. Whilst not the most comfortable thing to wear for long periods, I often forget that I am wearing it. The effect the support has on my drop foot condition is amazing, and I really notice the difference when I am not wearing it and my wife has commented that I walk much better when wearing the support. The only downside is that you need to wear shoes with laces that extend a long way down the shoe - so you have to be cautious of modern fashion and Velcro fastenings, although I have found that I can wear sandels with the support. Altogether a very good product.
