This has to be one of the worst bluetooth receivers that I have come across. It has obviously been designed for use when close to a mains supply, as it requires a 5v supply. It does not have an internal battery. This module has only been programmed with A2DP protocol, so if your equipment requires other protocols, then it won't work.
It is fine if you just want to make your home speakers into bluetooth ones, but there are more bluetooth modules out there that are much better. The only plus point with this unit is it is cheap. I would not recommend this unit and certainly would not buy another.
