Enjoyable read
I had read The Railway Detective series by Edward Marston and so wanted to read some of his other books. The Domesday series was my choice. I am really enjoying them. They have a completely different feel and are even more compelling than The Railway Detective. I couldn’t put it down. The characters are well formed and the plot twists and turns. Set in the 11th Century and giving insight into life at the time to some degree I was able to lose myself in the book. I recommend this series.
