Not quite as comfortable as expected

I have mixed feelings about this chair, which I've had for just over a week. Overall the chair is fairly comfortable but I do find the lumbar support rather too firm for my needs, although it might suit someone else. I suspect that the firmness is because of the massage device inside, so perhaps the non-massage version would have suited me better. The swivel mechanism doesn't run very smoothly and emits a slight scraping noise, unlike another similar chair I had years ago that swivelled perfectly and quietly. Finally, the colour of the wooden base is closer to orange than appears in the photos. So my overall feeling is one of disappointment at this point but, given time, I may get more used to it. I intend to have a good look to see if anything can be done to improve the swivel action but I'm not optimistic.

Nicely-shaped egg cups

Generally the egg cups are functional and fine for everyday use. However, there are too many imperfections in the glaze for me to give them a higher rating, plus the shape of the cup is not like the one shown in the picture. I would have returned them but I was in the middle of a house move and lost the boxes so I'll have to make do.

Renafood helps cat with kidney failure

I'd read about the improvements that other owners of CKF (chronic kidney failure) cats had seen in the their cats given Renafood so I decided to give it a try for my cat. The results astonished me, quite frankly. Within days of giving my little cat (2.75 kg weight) one quarter of a tablet daily she was more like her old self than she had been in a long, long time; she was back to her usual chatty, talkative self, brighter and more alert than she had been in ages, and the breath and body smell associated with the late stages of CKF had disappeared. After only 2 weeks of use I am amazed and incredibly grateful, and I hope the improvements continue. Sorry I can't comment on its use for people but that's not why I bought it.
