what i expected
it was what i expected and it gave me a new view on homosexuality. the actors were very good and did an excellent portrayal of topic of the movie. i will watch it again.

A Thousand Acres by Jane Smiley
I decided to buy this book after seeing the movie made from the book. The movie was well done and handled a senitive subject matter discretely,yet one knew what was happening. The subject of the book is a matter of family interaction and consequences of abusive history of the father upon his daughters. The book is insightful and well written. The fact that this book was purchased for a nominal price and promptly delivered is really a good feature of using this media. Often times I see something that sparks an interest and want to know more about it or where I can get the book about a movie and my quest is quickly achieved. It is a paperback and in excellent condition and easily inserted in my purse.
