cheaply made

I have a fairly large collection of old and reproduction tin toys. This was an inexpensive item, and it does look as pictured. It may be worth that, just for the way it looks. However, although nothing is broken, the spring/power mechanism is...well, ineffective. It is difficult for an adult to wind the item, and, even when successful, it won't propel more than a few inches. I purchased two of them, and neither work. In contrast, the greenish race car, made by the same company, seems significantly better made, and actually works.
