Great item that performs well.
This is a handsome, sturdy, quality item which does the job really well. The controls are easy to understand & use.

Great kettle in every way.
1 of 2 found this helpful Love this kettle. Having the filter in it is great - filtering tap water is beneficial.
It looks good, works well & is totally reliable. The lid is also easy to use - unlike some kettles.

A riveting eye-opener.
This is an amazing book which narrates the lives of three generations of women in China, beginning in the early 20th century. Powerfully written; the sort of book it is difficult to put down. A compelling read. The book is banned in China, unsurprisingly, because it makes for horrific reading as it describes the consequences on the population of Mao's "Great Leap Forward," & then the "Cultural Revolution."
I was lent the book by a friend some time ago & wanted to read it again.
There is nothing to dislike about "Wild Swans," - it is historical fact written in easy to read prose. It is unique - & has been described as a masterpiece.
