Great buy
2 of 2 found this helpful Very sturdy spreader. This does not feel cheap in any way. The cheaper name brands in big box stores feel cheap. This was easy to put together and had metal parts.

Worth the price for a long tile!
I'm not a pro. I'm just a DIY person. I was going to lay 48" plank tile and I knew my wet saw would not work.
Pro's: the cutter wheel is terrific. It does a nice clean cut. Snaps super clean. And best yet, can cut a 48 " tile without a care.
The price is great. Again, I'm not a pro. I didn't want to spend a small fortune on a cutter. If I had a fortune to spend, I'd hire a pro. They are worth it if you can afford it.
Con's: At the top is a "T" square. Mine was not actually a square. But I noticed it immediately. I'm married to a cabinet contractor. Everything is to a .32 ". But there were no instructions to make adjustments. The instructions in the box basically said, Lay down tile and cut. Duh. We did loosen the bolts on the back and straightened it a bit. But I did not rely on it.
The laser guide requires adjustment and monitoring. So check it. I had to adjust it to where the cutting wheel is. And the cutting wheel was not dead center either. But after we figured in all the factors that would not give you an accurate cut, all went well.
