Old school jeweler's loupe still works the best.

Optics are good with little or no distortion. Lightweight so as to be almost unnoticeable until needed. Magnification is good for close-in inspections. Well made.

Exotic Stingray skin within reach

If you ever wanted some of this exotic material, but did not know where to get it, here it is. These pieces are large enough for small projects and, more importantly, just right to get the "feel" of working with it before committing to larger and more expensive pelts. Obviously, the best part of the pelt is the center, but these edge trimmings are more than adequate to get good results with a little imagination. Consistency varies with different edges, so be forewarned that matching is not always possible with all pieces. Also, be aware of the difference between natural (bumpy texture) and polished (smooth - no texture). Lastly, don't be wary of a foreign order. It was easy.
