Motorola I355-Is it any good?
3 of 3 found this helpful Well I debated getting one for about a month before I actually got one. I had wanted to upgrade to a color-display phone from my older I305. But I didn't want to lose the ruggedness of that style phone. I had a flip-style phone before and it began working erratically within the first month of use (maybe it was just my phone, but I was not rough on it). Anyway, the I305 I had was a good phone, it lasted very well and worked great.
I really like my I355, it works really well. The screen is pretty easy to read and it has alot of features that my previous phones have not had. The reception is good, I get a signal almost anywhere, except very remote regions of my area. The battery lasts good and the buttons are easy to find and light up well. It's easy to hear on speakerphone as well as private. There are two things that I dislike about this phone are: the fact that when my friends send me pictures I can't set them as wallpaper, and I can't set the picture to show-up when that particular person calls. This could use up too much memory however, which might explain why that isn't possible. Even with that, I would highly recommend this phone to someone who works in a wet, dusty, and/or harsh environment..and wants a phone with some actual features to enjoy instead of just a plain-jane phone.

Nice light, very visible at night.
I replaced some older incandescent post lights with these (ironically made by the same company). One had gotten damaged years ago and I had repaired it. But when it finally broke again a few weeks ago, I decided it was time to replace it. The old ones weren't available anymore, and I decided to go with these. They came with all the necessary hardware (I didn't use the scotch-lock/splice, opting for connectors and heat shrink instead). They fit snug on the posts, probably wouldn't even need the holding screw included, but I am going to install it, just make sure to get them angled straight before you install it. They look nice, and are nice and bright at night, so they are easily seen.

Worked great
Our new dishwasher had a damaged roller, and instead of trying to hassle to get a warranty part, I bought a used one of the same part number. It worked like a charm and you can't tell the difference.
