Fixed the problem with my nieghbor's Makita
Makita DBC4510 would not start - low compression. Cleaned up the piston, replaced the ring - compression now OK, fired up.

As good as OEM
Exactly as described. They are plastic (not aluminum) and shiny, they fit my wheel centers.

Adequate for the job
Though this manual covers several different models, using basically the same engine, it does seem to provide the information I was looking for.
