Premium Mini Split 12000 BTU 16.9 SEER System Ductless AC ONLY COLD 220V

Good unit for the price.
Overall good unit and documentation. Installation was a breeze. I have installed other mini-splits and unlike them, this one receives power to the indoor unit and then sends the 220 to the outdoor for compressor on/off.
Good:
- Decent quality, well packaged and delivered on time. The UPS in my area does not deliver large packages on the weekend so my indoor unit showed up Saturday while the condenser had to wait till Monday.
- Documentation is well written and very detailed.
- Unit runs well for two weeks so far. Temp drop is OK, can get 28-32F inlet to outlet on evaporator depending on humidity. I have gotten other 16 SEER units to 35F drop.
- Do not have to install outside 220V disconnect for the outdoor unit.
Bad:
- Remote is only in Celsius, couldn't find a way to change it. No big deal, just have to get used to it.
- There are a couple of remote functions that are not described (holding multiple buttons together).
- Compressor is a bit louder than an inverter unit but that is expected. However no where near as much as a regular split.
- Indoor unit did not come pre-filled with Nitrogen.
Overall, I would recommend. You really can't beat it for the price.
Just a note - double check your fittings after running for a short period. After vacuuming it held 400 micron for 15 minutes. However one hour into operation (not sure if cold temp or vibrations) the 3/4 line started a slow leak on the outside unit (found with the sniffer). It was not leaking in the very beginning. Just tightening it a bit more fixed it.
Do not install this unless you have/can borrow a good vacuum pump & gauge to verify 200 micron. You will most likely leave moisture in the system and kill your compressor prematurely.
