Save replacing the fan
Saved me buying a new fan. I think the old one absorbed some stray voltage from a nighttime lightning strike. Pretty straight-forward replacement. A helper is good to have but I got it by myself even after dropping 3 screws.

Elegance needs a little work
It looks elegant in our living room! Where it could use some work is on the installation instructions. They aren't "how to put it together", they are a parts list you work through. In some cases a seqauence would be helpful. Tweezer, forceps, and/or needle-nose pliers are helpful too. Some suggestions on how to select bulbs for it could help, too.
