Great light for getting driver's attention!

I definitely get more attention with this light in the blue and red flashing mode. With a mirror on my helmet I can watch drivers slow down behind me and pull farther over (wondering whether I am a cop?), putting more space between their vehicle and my bike. I get about 5.5 hours on a full charge. If more is needed it can be plugged into an external battery pack. Super bright. Check the laws in your state to make sure the blue and red flashing mode is legal. It is in mine. :)

For me...perfect!

I am very impressed with this mount! It's solid and my eTrex 30x snaps in perfectly snug. Some have complained that the mount is too bulky. I disagree. The extra space designed in the mount is is the perfect spot to store an extra set of AA batteries when the GPS is in place. I've included some pictures to show the 1/8" aluminum plate that I crafted to adapt the mount to a NiteRider bicycle handlebar mount for my mountain bike. Notice too, that I put the two AA batteries in piece of bicycle inner tube and wedged a folded piece of thick paper in between the batteries to increase the friction against the inside walls of the mount to prevent the batteries from falling out.
