Flawed design

Despite another reviewers mention regarding the hinged top, I bought this anyway. The top has 2 torsion spring which retain as well as provide the force to open the top. Because both springs are the same ans not a mirror image of each other, the right side spring can pop out of place. This happened after only 2 weeks. I've since tossed out the brand new unit and am looking for a replacement.
